What is Single Touch Payroll?
It is a simpler way to report payroll and super information to the Australian Tax Office (ATO).

You will need to start reporting payments directly from your payroll solution every payday. The ATO will collect staff information such as:
Employees’ salaries and wages
Employees’ allowances and deductions
Other payments such as pay as you go (PAYG) withholding and superannuation information
If your business has 20 or more employees as of 1 April 2018, you are considered a “substantial employer” and will be required to use STP beginning 1 July 2018. If you have 19 employees or less, compliance will start on 1 July 2019.
Make the transition easier with Tanda

Tanda makes sure that your staff information and their work hours are accurate. Reduce admin work and process error-free pay runs through our integration with many payroll softwares.

After syncing employee data from Tanda, your payroll software calculates how much they need to be paid based on accurate records of their attendance.
